Meagan's Introduction
During an awe inspiring trip to Italy, and many destinations within her boarders, I was able to experience many of the wonders Italy has to offer, the student being myself. The experiences varied from catching moments in photography, tasting sugar foods the size of my face, and watching history go up in smoke (literally). Each city became a precious treasure I, and class mates, explored the many avenues that each one had to offer, from towering domes in Florence to watery canals in Venice. The people were unique and a pleasure to get to know and observe, even though they refuse to abide by waiting lines. The sights, the smells, and the noises all applied to the senses in various ways, challenging them and enhancing them to begin to understand another way of life, other than our own.
